High altitude experience
The excursion to 3000 meters will allow you to visit, in a landscape that has no equal, the most evocative places that see the protagonist of recent years, the South East Crater, the youngest but the most active of the four summit craters of Etna.
During the excursion you will be able to admire ancient and recent eruptive cones, huge lava surfaces, a lava flow tunnel, until you reach the South East Crater at an altitude of 3,000 meters to admire from close up this enormous crater that has been and continues to be the protagonist of some of the most important eruptions of Etna in recent years. On the descent you will have the opportunity to admire the splendid valley of Valle del Bove.
The itinerary is carried out by cable car and jeep bus in return service up to the maximum height currently reachable by cable cars, and then continues entirely on foot with the guide.
